Barry McGee’s Brooklyn Mural complete.

This is a long one, but such a good one. Jeffrey Deitch talks about Barry McGee’s work in the context of international street art and how he has grown as an artist since he met him way back in the 90s. 

Barry is back to work starting a new mural for the Mark Morris Dance Group. Can’t wait to see it finished.

Barry McGee returns to the Bay after many years for his “MidCareer Survey” at the BAM. We think they fit everything in one place from his photos, ball point drawings, robots, and even some student work. This might be one of those multiple visit exhibitions.

Also threw in a shot of Barry McGee with Os Gemeos that we grabbed from their instagram. Make sure to check it out the show before it goes away June 30th.
