Printed Matter’s LA ART BOOK FAIR
February 1-3, 2013

The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA

Printed Matter presents the first annual LA Art Book Fair, from February 1-3, at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA. An opening will be held on the evening of Thursday, January 31.

Free and open to the public, the LA Art Book Fair is a unique event for artists’ books, art catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines presented by 220 international presses, booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from twenty-one countries.

WEEKEND PLANS:

Toro y Moi and Red Bull Music Academy have teamed up to produce a special art installation at Project Parlor in Brooklyn this weekend where you’ll be the first to preview the new album.  The show will feature 13 original drawings from Chaz himself, and thanks to InCase headphones, each piece is paired with a song from Toro y Moi’s new album, Anything In Return.

*  Friday 5-10pm OPENING NIGHT
*  Saturday 5-10pm SPECIAL EVENT w/ 1 hour comp Red Bull + Kru Vodka and a DJ set by Toro y Moi (Chaz)
*  Sunday General viewing
